Drywood or subterranean — we treat the termite you actually have.
Know your termite and treatment
Drywood Termites

Drywood termites are widespread across Florida’s warm, coastal, and tropical climate. Unlike subterranean termites, they never touch the soil — they live entirely inside dry, untreated wood. Most infestations start with drywood swarmers flying in through attic vents or gaps in the roofline, or hitching a ride in infested furniture. From there, they silently damage attic rafters, furniture, and structural beams, often for months or years before anyone notices.
Subterranean Termites

Subterranean termites live in the soil, not in the wood itself. They build pencil-width mud tubes to travel from the ground into your home’s structure, and a mature colony can grow to well over a million termites. The Sentricon® System with Always Active™ technology acts immediately to start protecting your home plus a $1 million repair and retreat warranty.

WDO Inpsections

Infinite Pest Solutions completes WDO inspections and delivers your report within 24 hours.
Soil Pretreat
New build or renovation? This service treats the soil beneath a new slab to build a protective barrier against subterranean termites — the treatment Florida code recognizes.
Drywood Spot Treatment
When activity is confirmed to be contained to one or couple accessible areas — a single door frame, a windowsill, a piece of furniture — a localized spot treatment is often all that’s needed. It’s fast, minimally invasive, and the least expensive option, but it only fully resolves the problem when the infestation genuinely hasn’t spread beyond that one spot.
Drywood No Tent Treatment
For infestations that have spread beyond a single spot but haven’t compromised the entire structure. It’s more thorough than a standard spot treatment and far less invasive than fumigation — there’s no need to leave your home, it costs less than half of tent fumigation, and it protects your home for 10 to 15 years.
Tenting/Fumigation
When drywood termites have spread throughout the structure — multiple rooms, multiple types of wood, damage that’s no longer contained to accessible areas — whole-structure tent fumigation is the most thorough option available. The entire home is enclosed and fumigated, reaching termites in wall voids and framing that no other method can access. It’s the right call for a fully infested home, though it requires leaving the property for several days and costs more than spot or no-tent treatment.

Signs of a Subterranean Infestation
- Mud tubes — pencil-width tunnels of dirt running up foundation walls, piers, or crawl space supports
- Swarmers in spring — winged termites emerging around warm, humid evenings, most commonly March through May in Florida
- Discarded wings — small, uniform wings shed near doors, windows, or foundation vents after a swarm
- Wood damage that looks water-damaged — buckling paint, or wood that sounds hollow or feels soft near the ground

Signs of a Drywood Infestation
- Frass piles — small, sand- or rice-like droppings, the color of the wood they came from, collecting beneath baseboards, windowsills, or furniture
- Kick-out holes — tiny, clean holes in the wood surface where termites push frass out of their tunnels
- Shed wings — piles of clear, equal-length wings on windowsills, near doors, or around light fixtures after a swarm
- Blistered or hollow wood — surfaces that look swollen or blistered, or sound hollow when tapped
- Swarmers — winged termites flying indoors or just outside, usually drawn to lights at night, most commonly March through June in Florida
